Survey-grade accuracy, without the survey

Phone GPS is accurate to 3 to 5 metres. Fine for a rough pin, but no use for telling one row from the next. It’s a professional RTK receiver, a handheld rover, that places things to 2cm.

It arrives configured for Archer, set up and ready for Marlborough’s RTK network out of the box. Unbox it, walk your rows, you’re mapped.

When you need 2cm.  And when you don’t.

Not everything needs survey-grade accuracy. Archer lets you capture each thing the right way and records how accurate every point is.

RTK: required

Blocks & rows

Your base map. Rows sit about 2m apart. Only 2cm RTK can reliably tell them apart. Mapped with the rover.

RTK: strongly recommended

Underground assets

Irrigation, valves, power and drainage. You can’t see them later, so pin them to 2cm now. On the map before someone puts a post through it.

Phone GPS or by hand

Everything else

Visible features, trouble spots, notes: drop a pin on your phone, or mark it by hand in the web portal. Within a few metres is plenty.

Accuracy is tracked. Every point records how it was captured (RTK, phone GPS, or marked by hand), so you always know whether you’re looking at a 2cm fix or a rough drop.
